Don't Eat Baby Jesus!

 Grace and Jessie eagerly dumped the large Nativity set out on the floor. Angels, wise men, animals and sweet baby Jesus tumbled across the carpet and under the Christmas tree. Immediately, little hands went to work establishing the scene and making things "just right" for the birth of the newborn King. Hay bales in the stable, camels watching over the Wise men, angels looking on intently and Mary and Joseph looking down at their new baby. Priceless.
 The Christmas decorating was officially complete at our house and now everyone could relax take a deep breath until...Leah Belle came crawling out from beside the big, brown recliner with sweet Baby Jesus sticking out of her mouth- swaddled tightly!!! It was at that moment that Jessie lost it- she started yelling, "don't eat baby Jesus!, don't eat baby Jesus!!" After baby Jesus was rescued and placed back into the safety of the  manger, we all sat back and laughed!  Kids. You gotta love 'em!!!!

Decorating

Well, it's that time of the year! I am putting away all of the fall deco and pulling out the boxes of snowmen, wreaths, stockings, etc. This year I am starting, what I hope, will become a tradition by sewing an advent calendar for my girls!!! They are so excited to see December 1st roll around!!!!! Now, let's dust off the Elvis's Blue Christmas album and get this holiday party started!!!

Holiday time!!!!

Sooo, here come the holidays and I am ahead of the game!!! I have my turkey ready to pop in the oven in the morning and I have my dressing on standby!!! Oh how I love the smell of Thanksgiving in my house. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
